I made an appointment to get my car service at 9:00 am. The service appointment was for an oil change, tire rotation and brake work. I dropped off my car at 8:30 am on the day of the appointment and asked if I could pick it up at 5 pm. The service rep reassured me that it is not a big job and would not be a problem.

From past experience with getting service at this dealership, always getting the work done late, I called the dealership at 1 pm just to make sure that the work will be done on time. The service rep once again reassured me that they would have it ready for me by 5 pm.

I showed up at the dealership at 5:30 pm and saw my car parked where I had left it. I walked in to claim my keys and pay for the bill and much to my disappointment my car was not touched at all. The service rep told me that they were so busy that they did not have a chance to do any work on my car...not even the oil change. I was furious at the service rep's attitude. There was no apology nothing from the service rep or the service manager. They had the nerve to ask me to come back tomorrow. What a waste of my time. Needless to say that was the last straw and my last visit to Downtown Acura.

This dealership's service department has an on-going record of getting there work complete later than the agreed upon pick-up time. I have had work done on my car five times before my last visit at this dealership. All five time they were unable to fulfill the agreed upon pick-up time. If you walk into their dealership between the hours of 4 pm - 7 pm (usual pick-up time) you would see people waiting for their vehicle. If you asked them what time they were suppose to pick it up I would bet that the hour has passed.
